"Plastic world III" by Linda Kristiansen

Linda has been working with conceptual image expressions since 2014 and creates visuals stories with the help of photography combined with digital techniques. Elements and textures are put together to create new expressions, often by mixing old and new. She is concerned with symbolism and at the same time being able to give new meaning/value to it everyday things. To create space for reflection or recognition. Linda is inspired by philosophy, dreams, thoughts about her own existence and history. The picture series "Plastic World" takes us on a journey into a surreal and dark future where plastic waste has left its heavy mark on the world.
Linda har jobbet med konseptuelle bildeuttrykk siden 2014 og skaper visuelle
historier med hjelp av foto kombinert med digitale teknikker.
Elementer og teksturer settes sammen til å skape nye uttrykk, ofte ved å blande
gammelt og nytt. Hun er opptatt av symbolikk og å samtidig kunne gi ny mening/verdi til
hverdagslige ting. Å skape rom for refleksjon eller gjenkjennelse.
Linda inspireres av filosofi, drømmer, tanker om egen tilværelse og historie.
